Welcome

GRADS is like a classroom without walls. We help our students make connections in their community, find reliable information online and show them how to be lifelong learners throughout their parenting journey. There are also other methods of teaching our students without the traditional textbook. Follow my classroom blog as we stretch the boundaries of teaching and learning.

Lesson 4: Making Comments

I hope you like the classroom blog project this year. I am happy that you have created your own blogs and I can't wait to see how much you will add by the end of the school year.
This activity is about making comments on a blogger's post. The comments you share with each other is the main purpose of blogging; to communicate about the topic and help everyone who reads the blog develop a better understanding.
I asked each of you if it would be okay to share your blogs with GRADS students. So with your permission I added 4 GRADS students to your approved list of invited viewers. Before you view the other blogs I would like for you to visit the Guidelines tab and read each of the articles about how to post a comment.
You should have received an invitation notice in your email. You need to accept the invitation from each student.  If you don't follow the instructions for accepting the invitation then you will be blocked out and will have to be re-invited. I would like you to visit each student's blog, look it over and leave a comment.
Don't forget the 4 guidelines for making comments:
1. Compliment the writer about the post
2. Make a connection between the writer and yourself
3. Offer advice if the writer is seeking information
4. Ask the writer a question about the topic.
